ACD Captures Second Award For Auto Claims Self-Service Mobile App

ACD was presented with a Bronze Stevie® Award in the App Awards category at The 13th Annual American Business Awards this past Friday night.

This now marks the second honor ACD has earned in the past year for its revolutionary mobile auto claims solution, Self(ie) Service™.

“Being recognized by the American Business Awards for our firm’s innovation and leadership in advancing modern technology solutions within our industry is truly an honor. The auto claims sector is a space that is ripe for change and we at ACD thrive on helping auto insurers and their claims units streamline and improve processes that ultimately lower costs and increase policyholder satisfaction,” stated Ernie Bray, CEO of ACD. “Our growth over the past few years has really been fueled by the desire of insurance executives to move to the modern, easy-to-use and intuitive technology we provide,” added Bray.

The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners during a gala banquet on Friday, September 11 at the Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco. More than 250 nominees and their guests attended for the presentation of new product awards, management awards, app awards, and more.

More than 3,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Tech Startup of the Year, Software Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, and App of the Year, among others. ACD was nominated in the Apps category for Utilities & Services.

Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 200 executives nationwide who participated in the judging process.

“We are extremely impressed with the quality of the entries we received this year. The competition was intense and every organization that won should be proud,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “To those outstanding individuals and organizations that received Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Awards, the judges and I are honored to celebrate your many accomplishments. You are setting a high standard for professionals nationwide.”
