Independent Auto Damage Appraiser

We are looking for professional independent auto damage appraisers nationwide. ACD is also seeking independently owner/operated auto damage appraisal businesses that hold proper licensure and certifications as required by their respective state of operation.

The individual business owner or firm we are looking for must have auto collision estimating software, be experienced in handling auto damage (collision, theft, hail, flood etc) appraisals, and be ready to accept assignments. This is a contract position and you will be paid per completed assignment.

REQUIREMENTS
  • This is not an entry-level, or a trainee opportunity.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in auto damage estimating & technical training from Collision Repair industry or Insurance claims sector.
  • Must utilize computerized estimating software.
  • Must understand collision repair, vehicle safety systems.
  • Must have detailed technical knowledge of the above.

Account Manager

The ACD Account Manager is the liaison between the clients assigned to them and the ACD. The Account Manager is actively involved in the onboarding process and is expected to expedite the flow of information and resources throughout both the rollout and the continuing client development and claims handling processes. The Account Manager works hand-in-hand with the Claims Advisor, V.P. of Operations and V.P. of Corporate Accounts to ensure delivery of services as promised to the client. The Account Manager serves at the direct point of contact for each client assigned to them.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • 4-year college degree, and/or professional insurance designations, and/or relevant long term experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5-years experience handling auto insurance claims.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of current automobile liability coverage.
  • High level of expertise, proficiency and aptitude with technology including but not limited to Microsoft Office, general database programs, and Internet & web deployed communication.
  • Availability for travel as needed with the understanding that travel may be required for all New Client Presentations and Roll-Outs assigned to Account Manager’s Team; quarterly client meetings as needed and other business presentations as requested.

Quality Control Auditor

LOCATION

Summary
Analyzes claim files for accuracy.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Review estimates and photos in the Audit Queue for compliance to carrier guidelines.
  • Review supplements and photos, supporting documents, invoices for compliance with guidelines. Status as needed.
  • Re-assign or complete revisions on files that need changes requested by ACD or carrier.
  • Answer calls from shops, appraisers, carriers and vehicle owners and answer questions and give direction as needed.

  • Review supplements and photos, supporting documents, invoices for compliance with guidelines.
  • Status all files in a timely manner with findings.
  • Strong background in material damage estimating, claims handling terminology and the ability to provide supportive data and arguments to support our findings.
  • Insurance carrier subrogation experience required.
